Island An uninhabited island with varied topography. To the north are wooded hills and rocky cliffs to the east. The West is an abandoned village among light foliage near a river that continues to the cliffs to the west in a waterfall. The south is more even terrain leading to the beach. |

Forest The forest spans an area of 25 km (15.5 mile) radius in a vast circle. The foliage is usually very thick with occasional patches where the sun may be visible, leaving the majority in a greenish haze of pseudo-twilight. The nights are so pitch dark it is virtually impossible to see. Humid by day and chilled at night with fog through most of the day and frequent rains. The edge of the arena is marked by thick metal walls. |

Desert A 25 km (15.5 mile) diameter arena of extremes. Unrelenting dry heat by day and freezing temperatures at night with little cover and shelter available. Where there is loose sand in the east, there are dunes and occasional but severe dust storms. To the west are rock outcroppings and more stable ground. Between the two spanning from north to south is a dried lake bed that is prone to more severe temperatures. There is limited water and no rainfall, the border is marked by thick metal walls that are too high to climb. |

Urban A portion of a city destroyed during the riots. Perhaps the largest of the arenas at 35 km (~22 mile) diameter, it has remained mainly untouched with the same damage left from the riots. The buildings encompassed in the arena range from suburban homes, small businesses, apartments and a singular corporate building located at the centre, majority of which are infra-structurally sound. There is no game in this arena and water is mostly unsafe. The border of the Arena is marked by thick metal walls too high to climb, but it is possible to see over them from the corporate building at the centre. Jumping is not recommended. |
